PROF. PURNOMO YUSGIANTORO, Ir., MSC., MA., PHD.
Purnomo Yusgiantoro is the Founder of the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He had vast experiences working and contributing in energy sector in Indonesia, for example working as a consultant for the World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the field of energy economics and sustainable development. He was the Chairman of Board of Commissioners for Pertamina. He was also the Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (2000-2001, 2001-2004, and 2004-2009). He also held the position as the Minister of Defense (2009-2014). In the international sphere, Purnomo had served as the Governor of Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the Secretary General and President of OPEC in Vienna, Austria. He also acted as the Chairman of the ASEAN Ministers of Energy Meeting (AMEM). Since 2014, he dedicates his time, knowledge and skills by teaching the subject of energy economics at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He also teaches at Universitas Pertahanan (UNHAN) (Indonesia Defense University) where he is also the Co-founder of the University. At UNHAN, he teaches the subject of energy security. Purnomo continues his devotion to the energy sector by establishing PYC in 2016.
Luky Yusgiantoro, BSc., MSc., PhD.
Luky Yusgiantoro is a member of the Advisory Board for the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He is currently the Vice President Management Representative of SKK Migas (Special Unit of Upstream Oil and Gas of the Republic of Indonesia). Prior to working at SKK Migas, he worked with the state-owned company gas. He is currently an associate professor at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. He holds a PhD in Energy Economics from Colorado School of Mines, Colorado (USA). He also completed the Regular Education Program of the Institute of National Defence of the Republic of Indonesia (LEMHANAS) and has been invited on numerous seminars on the energy sector. He has also been involved in a number of studies from the National Energy Board of Indonesia (DEN).
Inka Yusgiantoro, BSE., MS., MSE., MA., PhD.
Inka Yusgiantoro is the head of the Supervisory Board for the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He is currently Senior Executive Analyst in the Strategic Committee and Research Center at the Indonesia Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK). Inka also holds teaching position at Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya Master Program in Financial Risk Management. Prior to that, he is Research Fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and investment banking professional in New York City and Singapore. Inka received his doctoral and Master of Arts degrees from Cornell University (USA), Master of Science degree from Columbia University (USA), Master of Science in Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Engineering degrees from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor (USA).
Alexander Wibowo, SH., LLM., JSD.
Alexander Wibowo is a member of the Supervisory Board for the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He currently works as a business and law consultant for many corporations in the energy sector. He also teaches law and economics at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH). He holds a Doctor of Juridical Science (JSD) in Law and Economics from UC Berkeley (USA). His bachelor degree received from Faculty of Law at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), and he also received a master of law from Utrecht University (Netherlands).
Filda Yusgiantoro, ST., MBM., MBA., PhD.
Filda Yusgiantoro is the Chairperson of the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center. Filda received her bachelor degree in engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). She has two master degrees; a Master in Business and Management (MBM) from Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) with finance specialization from Nanyang Business School (Singapore). She recently received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree under the Faculty of Business and Economics at Monash University (Australia), with her doctoral dissertation focused on economic issues in households and small businesses in Indonesia. She has been the Chairperson since the inception of the Center.
