OUR RESEARCHERS AND STAFFS
Filda is the chairperson and a researcher at Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). She received her bachelor degree in engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). She also holds a master degree in business and management (MBM) at Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy) and master of business administration (MBA) at Nanyang Business School (Singapore). Her passion for research led her to continue for a doctoral degree at Faculty of Business and Economics, Monash University (Australia), in which she was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in late 2017. Her doctoral dissertation focused on economic and financial issues in households and small businesses in Indonesia. At PYC, she aims to expand her research interest on some particular issues in the energy sector, including financing access to energy. Outside managing PYC, she simply enjoys reading, traveling or spending time with her family.

Chandi is a research assistant at Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center with focus on renewable energy. He holds a bachelor degree in geophysical engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung. During his bachelor study, he also participated in numerous social activities and was elected as the chairman of Geophysical Engineering Student Union. Upon the completion of his bachelor degree in 2015, he obtained a grant to continue his study from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education by the Ministry of Finance. He continued his study and obtained master degrees in applied geophysics from TU Delft (The Netherland), ETH Zurich (Switzerland) and RWTH Aachen (Germany). While completing his master degree, he also worked in GFZ Potsdam as an assistant researcher with a focus on geothermal area monitoring. His research experiences cover various fields, including monitoring of a volcano, bed-rock investigation, archaeological discoveries, and geothermal area assessment. In his free time, Chandi loves to play volleyball, swimming and also photo hunting while traveling.

Hanan is a research assistant at Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He earned his bachelor degree in Oceanography major at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) in 2014. He also holds a master degree in Energy Security at Universitas Pertahanan (UNHAN) (Indonesia Defense University) in 2017. During his undergraduate study, he actively participated in field research as an expert assistant in a remote sensing “Expedition of NKRI Maluku Corridor – North Maluku (Ekspedisi NKRI koridor Maluku – Maluku Utara)” by the Special Forces Command (Komando Pasukan Khusus (Kopassus)) of an Indonesian Army in 2013. His paper entitled “Mapping of the Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) Potential in Indonesia” entered the top ten best paper of national technology conferences organized by the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) in 2016. Away from work, he loves traveling, watching football and learning computer programming to create a digital startup.

Massita Ayu Cindy
Ayu is a research assistant at Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). She holds a bachelor and master degree both in Geophysical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) using the fast track program and graduate in 2016. During her college life, she actively participated as the committee in ITB’s Geophysical Engineering Student Executive Broad and also Society of Exploration Geophysics (SEG). Her passion for geoscience, especially in renewable energy application, led her to do research in the geothermal field in 2015 and continue experimenting in the same field but focusing Merapi volcano in 2016. Both research results have been presented in two different international conferences, ITB’s International Geothermal Workshop 2015 (IIGW 2015) where she achieved the best presenter and Southeast Asian Conference in Geophysics 2016 (SEACG 2016). Outside of research, she is passionate about drawing and designing. Thus, she loves to channel her drawings in her presentations or designing posters for events.

Diwangkara Bagus Nugraha
Bagus is a research assistant in Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He holds a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2014. After his undergraduate study, he joined the Center of Energy Research Universitas Gadjah Mada (PSE UGM) as a research assistant, before continuing his study in the University of Manchester, majoring in Advanced Electrical Power System Engineering, and obtained his master degree in 2018. In addition to his degree, he also received Research Excellence award and Academic Paper Champion award for his final dissertation, which also published in International Journal on Advanced Science, Engineering, and Information Technology (IJASEIT). His research focus covers smart grid and renewable energy integration. When he has spare time, he loves to explore craft and design.

Anggun Alfina Zakia
Anggun is a research assistant in Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). She earned her bachelor degree in economics at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) in 2015. During her study in UNAIR, she actively participated in national calls for paper and her papers had presented in several national call for paper competitions, such as in the 7th Eccents (7th Economics Events) by HIMA EP UNAIR (a student organization in development economics UNAIR) 2014, the 6th Eccents (6th Economics Events) by HIMA EP UNAIR (a student organization in development economics at UNAIR) 2013, and LEM 2013 (Liga Ekonomi Mahasiswa) by HIMA EP Universitas Atmajaya Yogyakarta (a student organization in development economics at Universitas Atmajaya Yogyakarta) 2013. After her graduation until late 2016, she involved in several research projects in collaboration with the local government in East Java as a research assistant. In her spare time, she loves learning to cook traditional food from her mother.

Febria is a treasurer for Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). She currently sits on the board of commissioners at a growing media and digital communication company. Her past work experiences include deals in industrial law and once achieved success leading a retail, cosmetic company by rapid, increased revenues and numbers of outlets across Indonesia. She holds a bachelor degree in law from Universitas Trisakti. During her free time, she enjoys reading law books, practicing yoga and traveling.
Amelia heads the secretariat for Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). She is one of the members of the board of commissioners at one of the fastest growing retail company that focuses on high-end consumer products. She is also the Director of a start-up company that provides a technology-based solution for micro and small enterprises as well as individual clients. She holds a professional degree in dentistry from Universitas Indonesia (UI). She loves reading books and baking outside from her busy schedule.
Pingkan coordinates events and public relation for Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). Her academic background is in communication from Universitas Sahid, Jakarta. Before joining PYC, Pingkan has been involved in numerous marketing and public relations and works on diverse companies and organizations for nearly 12 years. She also has many experiences on organizing events, starting from local to national ones. Pingkan is such a big fan of her six amazing dogs as she loves to walk them in her free time.
Nurmasyidah is responsible for finance and accounting work in Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). She holds an academic degree in accountancy from Perbanas Institute, Jakarta. Nurmasyidah has been involved in different accountancy works in several organizations for many years. Outside of work, one of her big passions is cooking particularly when it comes to Aceh’s cuisine, a thing that brings her back to her cultural roots. She has been married to her beloved husband happily for 26 years, blessed with a daughter and a son.
Jusa is a junior librarian and data resources for Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He has a bachelor degree in Library and Information Science major from Universitas Indonesia (UI) in 2017. During his undergraduate study, he joined several projects library and archive. He enjoyed taking part as a collection cataloger and passionate to enrich his skill around library and archive system. In Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center Library, he learns more about the library system (SLiMs) and special library management. He is also active in some organizations and committees, especially in some projects related to children and education. The most inspiring social project he took is when he participated as a teacher in some rural areas of Java at UI Mengajar. Away from work, he loves to spend his time watching movies and still enjoys taking part in several social activities.
Galih is the assistant junior librarian at Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He is a fresh graduate of Library and Information Science major at Universitas Indonesia (UI). He is very passionate to learn more about collection cataloging in the library system. Through Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center Library, he conducts specific library maintenance which includes cataloging, preservation, and online catalog management for library collection and archive. In his free time, he likes solo traveling and playing video games.

Candra Pebrita Muliawan
Candra is an office supporter for Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He earned an academic degree in marketing from Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) in 2002. Candra’s work is to perform administrative and office support activities for events as well as daily office’s requirements in PYC. When off from work, Candra loves to spend time playing video games and exploring places.
