Dewa was a former researcher from 2019 until 2023 at Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC).
At PYC, he coordinates research in environmental and energy management. He is also in charge of community and engagement partnerships. Before joining PYC, his previous experiences as a junior geoscientist at JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Simenggaris, involved rigorous field research, such as geological mapping, seismic data acquisition, rock physics analysis, and reservoir characterization. His sharpness in research skill led valuable insights to several research at PYC, such as mini LNG studies, oil lifting strategy assessment, coal liquefaction feasibility studies and biogas implementation project. A paper titled “An Integrated Petrophysical and Rock Physics Analysis of Tabul Sandstones to Improve Reservoir Characterization in Simenggaris Field, Tarakan Basin, North Kalimantan” authored by him has also been selected and presented in Joint Convention 2019 in Yogyakarta.
In his leisure time, Dewa loves traveling and watching movies.
He holds a bachelor degree in geological engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He also holds a master degree in geophysical engineering from the same university. He received a scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia in his last year of master degree.
