Muhammad Razin Abdullah
Razin was a Research Assistant at the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) from 2019 until 2021.
At PYC, he is involved in research on mini LNG feasibility study, assessment on upstream and downstream oil & gas industry, Indonesia’s future energy supply study, and assessment of off-grid electrification. His opinions subject to energy-related issues have been published in several media such as the roadmap to Indonesian coal. He is active in many organizations since his bachelor’s degree; for example, as an executive board in geophysical engineering student union (HIMA TG ‘TERRA’ ITB) and Indonesian Undergraduate Geophysical Competition (IUGC). His passion for education earned him 3rd place and 2nd place in national geophysical competitions in 2014 and 2015.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing games, and watching football and movies.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Geophysical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and a master’s degree in Applied Earth Science from Delft University of Technology. He pursued his master’s study with the support of the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) scholarship in 2016-2018.
